On behalf of His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios, we are very excited to announce that PARATHOSI 2019 will be held on Saturday, January 26th, 2019. This will be more than just a celebration of Hellenic Heritage & Dance. It will be an opportunity for all the Youth and Young Adults of the Direct Archdiocesan District to come together to celebrate our faith, culture, and heritage in a spirit of Orthodox fellowship.
PARATHOSI 2019 will be a one-day event beginning on Saturday morning, January 26th at Queens College. All performances will be held throughout the course of the day. Everyone is welcome to cheer on and support our performers from throughout the district.
Once the performances conclude, an Awards Glendi will be held in the evening at Terrace on the Park in Queens, NY. There will be a full band and dinner at the event. We welcome participants of the event, as well as their families and friends. Please join us for a wonderful evening celebrating our heritage with an opportunity to dance to music from various regions of Greece.
Our entire executive committee is extremely excited for this year's event. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns at email@example.com
